Presentation of Pamandzi

Pamandzi is a commune in Mayotte located on the southern part of the island of Petite-Terre. It has 11,442 inhabitants on 424 ha. Pamandzi has the particularity of being composed of a single village (unique case in Mayotte). It is the locality where Mayotte's international airport is located. Pamandzi is home to the headquarters of the French national gendarmerie in Mayotte and an administrative detention center (CRA).
