Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University (Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen Üniversitesi - AİÇU; website) was founded in Ağrı in 2007 as the Ağrı Dağı University. It originates in the establishment of the Faculty of Education of the Atatürk University of Erzurum.
The university is composed of three Faculties, two Institutes, four Colleges and two Vocational Colleges.
The university is named for İbrahim Çeçen, the founder of IC Holding, who funded the directorate building and the first faculty building of the university.

The flag of AİÇU is white with the university's emblem in the middle. The university seemingly uses two different emblems, each placed on a flag (photo; photo, photo), too.
The seal-like emblem shows Mount Ararat while the second emblem shows a stylized representation of the mountain.
