The actual flag and logo were introduced on 1 January 2001, on occasion of the establishment of the FJT. The new association was the result of the unification of the Société Cantonale Jurassienne de Tir and the Société Jurassienne des Tireurs Sportifs. (website)

Courcelon is a fraction of the Courroux commune.
