It is a slightly untypical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms, having three visible towers on crest, centred on a field quartered of red and white.

Shield Argent, two gold pheasants Proper respectant, in base a sheaf of five wheat ears Vert tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll in Bérnard Guedes style with inscription in black initials "CIBORRO".
