Flag of Stari Grad

The flag of Stari Grad (photos, photos, photos) is white with the coat of arms in its centre. It is used in several slight variations in the coloring of the dome (white, gray or graduated), with or without inscription over the shield, and in horizontal and vertical versions.

The Populari database claims that the arms were adopted in 1996.

The coat of arms is "Vert a dome issuant argent and in chief sinister a fleur-de-lis of the same".
Variations of the coloring of the dome can be observed. A dome is characteristic of the traditional architecture of the old town of Sarajevo. I was told that this is the dome of the old market place, but it could also be the dome of the Turkish baths, or some other building.
